How long will you pay me unemployment?

The duration of the benefit for cease of activity is regulated by law which states that it is based on the periods worked subject to contributions within the 48 months prior to the unemployment situation and, at a very minimum, 12 of them must be continuous and prior to the situation.

There is a table that lists the months of contributions with the corresponding number of months you may collect unemployment.
