Yes, it can be changed.

You can request an increase in the withholdings on the benefit for cease of activity as long as you do so five days before the end of the month prior to collection of the benefit.
The new rate will apply until the end of the current year and will continue in future years unless you waive it in writing or request a new higher rate.
