Their aim is to provide financial cover for situations of need or special states that have arisen in workers or their rightful claimants (people who have legal rights with regard to the person who has suffered the accident, usually due to hereditary reasons) as a consequence of a work accident or occupational illness.<\/p>\n<p>These provisions are recognised through a committee in which workers\u2019 and companies\u2019 representatives take part in equal measure, and which are called the Special Provisions Committee. <\/p>\n<p>The rules that regulate them are the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asepeyo.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/Resolucion-DGOSS-Prestaciones-complementarias-FIRMADA.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ruling of 28 October 2019<\/a> of the Directorate General for Social Security Organisation, which establishes the system of application of the complementary provisions of Article 96.1 b) of the revised text of the General Social Security Law.<\/p>\n<div class=\"titulo\">\n<h2>Who can apply for them and what are the requirements?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<ul class=\"fa-ul m-2\">\n<li><i class=\"fad fa-check-double text-primary\"><\/i> Workers who have suffered an accident or who are affected by an occupational illness.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"fad fa-check-double text-primary\"><\/i> The rightful claimants of workers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The requirements for accessing these provisions are:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"fa-ul m-2\">\n<li><i class=\"fad fa-check-double text-primary\"><\/i> Only one aid per accident or occupational illness can be recognised.<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"fad fa-check-double text-primary\"><\/i>For the cohabitation unit of the person who has suffered the accident not to have exceeded a certain income limit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"titulo\">\n<h2>What assistance can you apply for?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<p>Rehabilitation and recovery:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"fa-ul m-2\">\n<li><i class=\"fal fa-arrow-right\"><\/i> Assistance with the costs of staying in a public health or residential centre<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"fal fa-arrow-right\"><\/i> Assistance with the costs connected with the worker staying in a hospital<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"fal fa-arrow-right\"><\/i> Assistance for prosthesis and technical assistance not included in the Social Security<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"fal fa-arrow-right\"><\/i> Assistance for medical treatments or therapies not included in the Social Security<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Professional reorientation and adaptation of work post<\/p>\n<ul class=\"fa-ul m-2\">\n<li><i class=\"fal fa-arrow-right\"><\/i> Vocational training and social and job integration courses<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"fal fa-arrow-right\"><\/i> AAdaptation of the premises where the self-employed worker carries out their work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Assistance for adaptation of the essential resources in carrying out the basic activities of everyday life:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"fa-ul m-2\">\n<li><i class=\"fal fa-arrow-right\"><\/i> Assistance in the removal of obstacles in the habitual home<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"fal fa-arrow-right\"><\/i> Assistance in the acquisition of an adapted habitual home<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"fal fa-arrow-right\"><\/i> Assistance in adapting a vehicle<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"fal fa-arrow-right\"><\/i>Home help for carrying out the basic activities of everyday life<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"fal fa-arrow-right\"><\/i> Assistance with access to new information and communication technologies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other provisions:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"fa-ul m-2\">\n<li><i class=\"fal fa-arrow-right\"><\/i> Complement to aid in the event of death<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"fal fa-arrow-right\"><\/i> Assistance in training in care for people with severe disabilities<\/li>\n<li><i class=\"fal fa-arrow-right\"><\/i> Assistance in maintenance of the possession or use of the habitual home<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"titulo\">\n<h3>How do you apply for social assistance?<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<p>Download and complete the social assistance application form.
